On A Mission

I am a knitter on a mission. Focused. Driven. Determined. To finish this cowl. It’s all I want to do, knitting-wise. I love how the pattern is shaping up, and I can’t wait to share it with you. (Even though BOTH times I cast on my 300 stitches, I accidentally twisted before joining…so now it’s a true infinity loop. Yarn destiny, I suppose.)

And this yarn! Oh! It’s Woolfolk Sno. Soft as a new lamb. So soft it doesn’t even feel like wool. As my cowoker says:ย It glows.

It really does glow.

I have set aside all my other 501 knitting projects and 301 blog-related tasks. None of that sounds good now. They must wait, but their time will come soon enough. I promise I have a lot of exciting projects in the queue, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, I am over hear. Wishing I didn’t need sleep.

Your co-worker is correct. The yarn glows. It is lovely. Are you knitting from a pattern?

Me too. Maybe tonight if I can stay up long enough and don’t have a Major Knitting Mishap on the final row, which always seems to happen to me. Grrr.

and the whole project looks so pretty…the addi lace needles, the stitch markers…..I sometimes fall in love with a project simply because it looks beautiful while I’m working on it. Of course, the light grey makes this one I could easily knit on forever!!!

You can and you will finish this lovely cowl. My gosh that yarn is divine. I Googled it and saw there were two-toned versions I’d love to get my hands on.

Mine actually is two-toned also. Subtle contrast with white and light grey that I love. Seems very neutral and hopefully can be worn with nearly anything.

Oh I hope so…although I am so incredibly behind on photoshoots. Need a second pair of hands to model or work the camera…or something. Maybe this is why they invented a tripod?

Oh thank you my dear. I am so excited about this one. Now and again, I stumble upon a knitting project that helps me remember why I am an obsessed knitter.

That is so true. Some patterns or projects just have that effect and impression on one. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thats why I knit and crochet too.
